Fackellilja - Kniphofia sp. - Redhot Poker

An S-weed from the archives: snap from June 24, 2002, plus a sequence from the weed walk of that day. The Poker was at the front edge of the mound of dirt behind the garbage chute funnels. It has clearly survived being thrown away or dumped over. But I was shy about pinching material for scanning from too cultivated-looking plants, and the S-weed rule was to have at least a small piece of scanned material. Was reminded of this pic when I saw the Kniphofia in the Botanical Garden yesterday, 2005-08-22.
