This is also where I should note the observation
of the first four Coltsfoot flowers on S-weed turf 2003
- only three days after 2001
but almost a month later than the extremely early one of 2002

bracts horizontal (more or less)
a pallid green, winged petiole
small terminal lobes with elongate apex
recurved, undivided side lobes
with some quite robust teeth on their upper edges
and acutely angled interlobia...
following this path of pebbles
I would suppose T. expallidiforme
Tho it ain't necessarily so...
