when I could agree with
the little-girl voice:
"Oh mummy!
today is SUMMER!!"

who came up to me
when I was visiting
the Meadow Saxifrage
and Cat's-foot
he didn't say much
and was more interested in
(pointing)
the piles of pellets
processed by earthworms
than in any leaves
or flowers
