I've seen bigger on the dumps, with mature flowers

Who would have THOUGHT
a month ago
that there would be snow on the ground,
all day,
on October nineteenth?

Autumn leaves
still on the trees
and the ground still warm.

Well,
the unusual happens
(all the time?)
