Oh dear!
what a tangle
with my calendar rules.
Today's sample is mostly from September
just the top left leaf as a hint from today
that the winter rosette of the Fleabane
looks more or less the same now as it did
then, when I wouldn't put it up
because there was already a September presentation
from last year
when I had no idea to connect
the flat rosette with next year's multiflower stem.
In fact, I didn't see it at all
and this season, when I've learned to recognize it
- thanks, Erik, for the lesson -
this season I realize there's a sparse but overall sprinkling
of next year's Fleabane in the S-weed Domain.
