Physalis peruviana
Kapkrusbär i augusti och i oktober

Eva Ekeblad, 2002

Well, my August grumping about management
probably wasn't very fair
in the Physalis context, at least...
although the third sample on S-weed turf
which never made it to the page
WAS weeded away (and was there a fourth?)

But the main reason
they don't make it to flowers here
would be that their random distribution
gets them off to a much to late start
and they don't make it past the first few frosts.

OK

Spent the day at a seminar
about near-urban nature
looking at transparencies, PowerPoints and slideshows

learning a bit more about
green wedges
choosy molluscs
living forests and dead wood
how Göteborg
has more park and forest than Stockholm
which yet is green for a capital (I think)

further listening to
the importance
of adaptable management
and of the need for communication
of spreading
relevant knowledge in all ranks
et
cetera

I'm honestly not sure that I grasp very well
how responsibilities are distributed
in practice.
