in the lawn where I keep looking
for the remnants of the Fiddleneck
in vain


and some Burnet-saxifrages
that so far
have been lucky
in their patch by
the parking lots of the Next Block.

But they've removed the containers
for demolition rubble
and started construction work
on the street side, so...
the S-weeds will get to know.
