The garbage technology in this block
is still rooted in the sixties
though complemented
with recycling stations for paper,
glass and metal.
But we still have the original chutes
(sopnedkast = garbage-down-throw)
on each floor. And what we dump
ends up in bins
behind these green doors
while over most of Göteborg
people have to carry downstairs
carefully separated and sorted waste

The Flax lost most of its petals
on the short way home.
