in the Next Block construction zone
that other parts of the domain get a little neglected.

So I haven't kept tabs
on the lawnmowing over at the vacant office building
except that there hasn't been a lot of maintenance at all
for most of the summer.
So perhaps it's a sign of a new tenant moving in
that the lawn, the patio and the flowerbeds
have all been tended now. First weeding there
since I started walking that way.

The Cutleaf Blackberry is gone.
And I wonder if those Willowherbs will be back.
They probably will.
