As many times before,
Erik Ljungstrand provided an important piece
towards a solution
focussing my looking, reading and re-collection.
And as Oraches are tricky beasts
this may still turn out to be
- for example -
a Spear-leaved one
with a sick and twisted
sense of humour.

I do think those pedicels look good, though.
