A tram trip all across to the other side of town
to look at the other area of Star Houses.
Pointless perhaps
but funny: it didn't feel like home.

The Indian Cress is from here
from the Next Block
to record another of the commonplace escapes from cultivation.

Less commonplace the Mercury
- if that is really what it is.
Skulking, camouflaged
in the row of Spiraeas
not far from the Niger.

Had me all confused
thinking in a Lamiate direction
so I'm grateful to Martin Catt and Malcolm Storey for reorientation
- the flowers make more sense this way.

The photo was nervously taken,
- I'm always afraid to attract attention
thinking that it'll result in immediate weeding...
