Slender Foxtail, Göteborg, September 25th, 2002

Alopecurus myosuroides
Renkavle i augusti

Eva Ekeblad, 2002

Surprised me to find the Slender Foxtail still there
with several flowering (maturing) straws - lying down in the tangle of "hay"
left there since the cutting of this quasi-meadow hillock three weeks ago.

recycling the snap from a few days ago

and   Many-headed Woodrush

Luzula multiflora ssp. multiflora
Ängsfryle i maj, i april och i mars

Well, this may be the Hairy
not the Many-headed
Woodrush as you will
- gotten from the fresh gap in this flowerbed
and once again I've been thinking almost too long
there's been weeding and re-planting
since the snap was taken.
If the Luzula's lucky there is ONE survivor...
