of the sample
from the Mall
featured in August
as well as November.

Then,
on October 18th
that too-early
snowfall
arrived as a
total surprise
for me
and the S-weeds...

Two things
or three
today.

First
the frost
that lashes
in uneven strokes
over the Domain:

by the Mall the caged Physalis
is fine still
while this one
got struck
since the snap
six days ago.

In August
there were flowers
on the city dump.

Today
I have a small bowl
of store-bought
(imported)
golden berries.

Doing my thing
for next year...
