  Last time the Corn Sowthistle featured here, back in June, the buds looked as if they would open in a day or two - but since I feared that the ones I had found in the parking lot of the Mall would be weeded sooner, I didn't wait. In this case (unlike some others) I could have - there were flowers first and weeding the next day.
  And then there turns out to be quite a lot of them over on the bank by the ditch of the main road - one of the few patches left alone all summer.


I can feel my circle closing
- the S-weed domain is beginning to look much the same as it did back in the beginning of my long walk from here to here.
