  A month has passed, and the new lawn is under way, nicely green (when seen from the side). The top soil was removed and replaced. Very soon the Canada Thistles surfaced from their deep roots, and by now there are also others, like the Broad Dock.
  The Canadian Goldenrod wasn't quite as lost as I thought - this sample is from up by my nearest bus stop. And - off the record - the Garden Lupin sends greetings from the Trash Meadow.
