Alchemilla vulgaris Daggkåpa i november, i april, i maj och i augusti Eva Ekeblad, 2002

I was so sure last winter
that there wasn't any Lady's Mantle in our lawns here
that I commented this fact twice:
in November and in April.

So it stands as a suitable signpost
for the change in my vision through this discipline:
now I even see it flowering
in the lawn behind the house
in February.

It's not like my eyesight has become any better
- but my visual attention has been educated.
So may, of course, other attentions be as well.
