Tuberous Comfrey and Siberian Squill,

Another runaway Primula (I thought)
just a few steps from the tiny Cowslip of last year
(and this: the single rosette is now a doublet)
But: no wrinkled, backfolded lips on the Primrose leaves.
The Squill from the New Lawn
will stand here as a token of the bulbous beings
that get randomly transported from flowerbed sleep
onto mounds of gravel
pre-season mower-lawns
and the patch of last year's Yellow-cress
(that's where the pale purple Crocus is)
concerning
the oval leaf
doubts have been expressed
from usually cogent quarters
- stand by for correction
DONE: from Primrose to Comfrey
