Goosefoot uprooting

From a Weed Patrol perspective this round of weeding by uprooting was good timing: the seeds of the Chenopods were barely mature. Wonder how long it will take the Patrol to work the seed bank to exhaustion. Well... the grasses will move in and take over, I guess. Though there wasn't a lot of grass in this harvest. Several Chenopodic species. Persicaria, Mugwort, Nettles, Hempnettles, Deadnettles. Woundwort and Galinsoga. Mayweeds and Wild Turnips. All in all: a profusion of Real Weeds.
