Weed Dandelion, Göteborg, Feb 21st, 2001

where I am looking for weeds this week
- in open soil, and between paving stones very close to my house -
there are, at present, many of these small dandelion plants
of a variety with strongly jagged leaves

Temperature hovers around the freezing point,
mostly above -- but a new bout of cold well below freezing is forecast for Friday.
My wishful thinking says it should be spring,
because the days are so much longer now.
But really, cold in February is just normal.
