Cut-leaved Cranesbill, Göteborg, October 22nd, 2001

Geranium dissectum
Fliknäva i maj, i juni och i november

Eva Ekeblad, 2001

A game of hide and seek
with the cut-leaved cranesbill:
I never found it again in the same spot as in June
but on the fourth of July (too soon for another presentation)
this autumnal specimen
in another part of the scrap meadow:

... and then it popped up briefly in the goosefoot paradise
just before one of the major weedings.

Then nothing
and nothing
- until I discover that I have overlooked it
as a thriving neighbour of the zig-zag clover
in that patch by the mall
stirred and shaken in the end of May.
There is also some in the new lawn
started even later
so no flowers.
