The feverfew in the patch by the Ad Pillar
Got lost among the nettles and wintercress.
All I found there in the second half of August
was mugwort
- wich turned out to have a quite similar
herbal fragrance when crushed,
at least those young shoots in the August sun,
which were also
a very tender, pale green.
I started suspecting I might have made
another overly daring identification...
(I do that: I am still learning.)

...until in mid-September, when the patch started recovering after the mowing
and the feverfew became visible again
and this time, the exact spot memorized:
by now
it is again drowning in the nettles.

And there is feverfew
in the new lawn as well
not much in either place - but there.

And then I also found...

Long shadows at three in the afternoon. November.

Details of the back side of leaves. 4X

Mugwort
Artemisia vulgaris
Gråbo: oktober, januari, april och juli
