...at first I had this as Charlock. When summer comes along I must really try to find and compare these yellow relatives...

- and then, late in May, I hope for the return of the Wild Radish, spotting some likely leaves and daring identification before flowers
in another ten days I turned out to be mistaken...

- and a little later, with the accelerating summer, the story of the Wild Radish was only one among many stories...
and so, mostly, left untold. I may yet get around to it.
