The Hogweed: thriving excessively
at the bank by the ditch
left to its own devices
- in bloom today

The Yellowcress: struggling hard
to come back after heavy weeding
ten days ago
- the sprigs to the right
taken ten days before that

I have followed the progress of the Hogweed with my camera
and neglected the Yellowcress
- it probably doesn't scare me enough
