Sticky Groundsel, Göteborg, July 4th, 2001

Senecio viscosus

Klibbkorsört
i september, i december, i maj och i oktober
This warm and sunny day
is the first that I see open flowers
of the Sticky Groundsel
while the Common one has had them
for roundly a month...

Common Groundsel and Hedge Mustard
And so today is for parking lot trivia
- including the ubiquitous Hedge Mustard.
Now
in spite of closeness
and light winds
the difficulty of capturing
a feathery ball of groundsel seed for the scanner
is comparable to transporting hoarfrost indoors
