experimentally simulating
my weed scanning method
by camera
and a found piece of cardboard:
a box for a 'thin back support'

Mentha arvensis
Åkermynta
i juni och i september
Corn Mint

these are all
from the untended strip
sloping up towards the bus lights

a patch of mint
up in the dry corner
a small scattering of fleabane
and corncockle
in the tuft of lost garden annuals

well
it shows the advantage of scanning
- to be more precise,
the corn cockle pried out of a digcam photo lacks
(given my photography skills)
the internal cues for volume
- shadows and texture - that the scan would give.

Conyza canadensis
Kanadabinka i september,
i november och i mars
