The Sedge grows in the wettest part of the meadow scrap across the street, which is at the moment dry.
The Amphibious Bistort away from water, is still not out of place.
The Bartsia, however, is out of its place and time: a cultivated weed, from the seeds scattering on my scanner in February.
Wildflower more than weed, perhaps - but that whole meadow scrap is waste space, self-organizing growth for the time being. So weeds I will name them, and this one has lived the first part of its life on my window sill.
In the wild there would not be flowers yet - the plants, if any, are still to insignificant for me to re-collect the exact spot.
