Floating Sweet-grass, Göteborg, June 15th, 2003
I thought this would be Glyceria declinata, Small Sweet-grass. |

The Small Sweet-grass is from the middle of the Scrap Meadow
which is waterlogged in winter
and where most of my sedges grow.
The Floating Sweet-grass of this same day last year
is still in its place in the shallow ditch bordering the local street.
The sample I used then looks a bit overripe
